Utopia. | LATENT showcases the works of artists— Jared Fitzgerald, Gabrielle Mar, Tom Prinsell, Shuling Guo, Kelly Worman, Elise Rise, Tiantian Ma, Ye Cheng, Qin Tan, Sharon Lee
who explore the transient nature of paradise through the lens of identity and cultural memory. In a world of literalism, these artists bury their most essential truths beneath symbolic veneers and oblique narratives. Their collective work delves into the complexities of finding and losing utopia, inviting the viewer to "seek" meaning within the hidden folds of the personal and the political, reminding us that what is most hidden is often the most true.
